How are the Joe’s Disc Golf Power Rankings determined? Unlike other disc golf power rankings, theses are based purely on math. There is no voting; no tweaking; no gut feelings; no manipulation.nnTo calculate the rankings, we look at the most recent eight Silver Series, Elite Series, and Majors. We do not factor in any other tournaments. The most recent three tournaments weigh the most overall in the calculations, while the last two weigh the least. Players who do not attend an event are assigned a certain number of points that substitute a finishing place. Rankings are updated after every DGPT/Major event.n

nnnFor the third publication in a row Gannon Buhr takes the top spot in the Joe’s Disc Golf Power Rankings. Buhr has continued to perform at every tournament he enters; consistently finishing in the top 10.nnHolding on to the second place spot is the fan favorite Simon Lizotte. Since returning to tour after becoming a father, he has tapped in to mystical dad power. He continues to tear up the courses with smart golf and appropriate use of power. nnJumping up to the third place spot is James Conrad. After a solid performance at the Preserve Championship he was able to claim third.nnJumping up into fourth place is Kyle Klein. He is quickly climbing the power rankings with his most recent third place finish at the Preserve Championship. It looks like Klein has shaken off those early season woes as we move into the heart to the schedule. nnRounding out the top five and remaining in fifth is Paul McBeth. While McBeth isn’t having a great season, he isn’t having a a bad one either. He isn’t able to have on outstanding round to propel him up 5+ spots in a round. The competition is so good that McBeth needs to put together 3 solid rounds to be in contention. Right now McBeth is in a funk, but still remains in the top 5 for the 2022 season.nnWhat do you think of the rankings? Is the math wrong? Let me know in the comments below!nn
