Maintaining the top spot for the sixth straight update is Catrina Allen. As previously mentioned, her consistency is what keeps her in the mix in every tournament and at the top of the Joe’s Disc Golf Power Rankings.
With the relatively low FPO turnout for the European stretch of the season, the rankings were not updated until the conclusion of the Discraft Great Lakes Open to reduce the volatility in rankings.
Remaining in the top spot is Catrina Allen. She played well during the European swing and continues to play consistently this season.
Moving up three places after her win in the Eurpoean Open, Paige Pierce is able to claim the second spot on the Joe’s Disc Golf Power Rankings.
Moving up one spot is Ohn Scoggins. Her fairway hits and excellent putter keep her in the top of the power rankings.
Dropping two spots is Missy Gannon. She missed the European Open but has played well enough where this didn’t change her rank too much.
How are the Joe’s Disc Golf Power Rankings determined? Unlike other disc golf power rankings, theses are based purely on math. There is no voting; no tweaking; no gut feelings; no manipulation.
To calculate the rankings, we look at the most recent eight Silver Series, Elite Series, and Majors. We do not factor in any other tournaments. The most recent three tournaments weigh the most overall in the calculations, while the last two weigh the least. Players who do not attend an event are assigned a certain number of points that substitute a finishing place. Rankings are updated after every DGPT/Major event.
