Kristin Tattar has cemented her place in disc golf history by becoming the highest-rated female player of all time. As of the September 12, 2023 ratings update, the Estonian superstar now boasts an incredible 999 rating, putting her within striking distance of the elusive 1000 rating mark on the next update.
Tattar surpasses Paige Pierce, who held the previous record rating for a female player of 996 set in March 2021.
The now two-time world champion Tattar has had a truly remarkable 2023 season so far. She has won all three FPO majors – the Champions Cup, the European Open, and the PDGA Pro World Championships. With the USWDGC still to come in October, Tattar has a chance to become the first player ever to sweep the majors in a single season.
Statistically, Tattar’s season has been historically significant. Eight of her last 13 competitive rounds have been rated over 1000, including a pair of 1030+-rated rounds to open the World Championships in her title defense.
Kristin Tattar seems poised to continue breaking records and cementing her legacy as one of the most dominant disc golfers of all time. If she can maintain her incredible play, becoming the first-ever female player to break the 1000 rating barrier seems well within reach.
